un bel sabato- a good saturday

Yesterday I finally spent a lovely day out with my friend Alessandro and my Swarovski telescope.
We went to the Park of Circeo, rich in waters and just by the sea. Many were the birds and species, but very restless because of the wind and the atmosphere of approaching spring. Temperatures are very mild, and the egret and spoonbill were frantically preening their nuptial feathers, while flamingoes were beginning to display. My only option was to produce very quick and incomplete sketches of the restless birds. It was also difficult to paint by the sea because the wind buffeted the pages of my sketchbook, and I'd forgotten to bring clips! But I don't mind if the results are not super.
