Sumi-e della roccia del lanario-Sumi-e of the lanner's rock

At the WWF sancuary of Bosco Rocconi, the observatory look-out is on a beautiful rock that used to be the lanner's nesting site, now taken over by peregrines. Thinking of how to paint it for the exhibition, I felt that dear old Sumi-e would be the perfect language for it. I spent an afternoon warming up and wasting paper, and the next day I produced these works. The result is modest, but they convey that evocative feeling that I wished to create.
